The “National Science Day Celebration-2019”was conducted successfully on 28th Feb, 2019. This was followed by welcome address delivered by Prof.JadhavV,R Coordinator of the program highlighting the significance of celebrating the Science Day in remembrance of Sir Chandrasekhar Venkata Raman for receiving the noble prize for discovery of Raman Effect. Our Provost has thrown light on the significance of science day and the theme of this year’s science day “Science for the people and people for the Science” and also the role of science and technology in our daily life. Our Director, ETR had spoken on the emphasis of science and technology for our present generation and motivated our students for better research while applying innovative ideas. Our Head of Department, Academics has elaborated the role of students in the development and progression of research in the field of science and technology to take up challenges at a higher level.
