Department of English is established in the year 2004-05. English was introduced as a special subject for three-year Bachelor of Arts program. The department of English strives to develop English language proficiency among the students from rural area. It also aims to inculcate the taste for English Literature among the students. The department also provides valuable career oriented guidance which leads students towards their destination by pursuing the motto ‘Always remain in quest of knowledge.’ The Department also organises various activities under literary association.
