About Board of Student’s Developments

Board of Students development is an active department of Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh Arts, Commerce, Science and Computer Science College Chandori. The Board is working with the broad objective of inculcating moral values ??in the students along with their education, and economic, social, physical and intellectual development and building a responsible citizen. This department is constantly working to help students in a variety of ways. The department is not only giving a helping hand to the needy students but also providing financial assistance to the students to help them out of their situation. Many schemes are being successfully implemented in the college every year for the overall development of the students under this department.

In this, ‘Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Earn and Learn Scheme' is mainly being implemented every year. For this scheme, one lakh and fifty thousand rupees has been sanctioned to the college by Savitribai Phule Pune University per year. Students are introduced to the administrative work of the college by participating in various department and financial assistance is given for the work done by the students. In this way, students get benefit financially which help to them for education and motivates poor and budding students for education. The scheme has been successful in providing financial assistance to needy students in rural areas while they are studying, and hence the response from students to participate in the scheme has been good.

In addition, various workshops and social programs are conducted in the college every year to impart knowledge to the students in all the fields. These include ‘Competitive Exam Guidance Workshop’, ‘Employment Skill Development Workshop’, Personality Development Workshop, Special Guidance Workshop, Nirbhay Kanya Workshop, Disaster Management Workshop. Not only this, the anniversaries of various great personalities are being organized in the college on behalf of this department for inculcating ideals in the students.

For the success of this Student Development Board, the Principal of the College, the Student Development Officer as well as the Student Development Board Committee are constantly working.
