The Department of Marathi was established in 2004-05 at the opening of the college. The Department  runs both the General and Special Courses at UG from the opening of the college.It is also associated with Commerce and Science disciplines for contributing at the First and the Second Year of B.Com and B.Sc respectively.There are 01 regular permanent Professors & 1 fulltime Professors working  in the Department.The Department has always focused on conducting meticulously all the curricular and extra-curricular activities for the holistic development of the students of the college in general and the students of the department in particular.

        The newly introduced ICT based pedagogy and the digital gadgets have been used by the faculty and made available to the students. The faculty and students always aim at supporting the social, national and ethnic value-fostering activities on-and off the campus.
