To ensure provisions for an environment where all such students feel safe and secure.
To provide prompt counselling for any emotional emergencies arising on account of any events at the campus.
To provide a mechanism to redress the grievances of SC and ST students, if any.
To ensure protection and reservation as provided in the constitution of India.
To arrange for special opportunities to enhance the career growth of these students such as through competitive examination coaching.
To counsel and guide SC/ ST students and help them to manage academic and personal issues of college life effectively.
To aware the SC/ST students regarding various scholarships program of State Govt. and UGC.
To create a platform where students can point out their problems, regarding academic and non-academic matters.
Functions:
Function as a Grievances Redressal Cell for the grievances of SC/ST students of the college and render them necessary help in solving their academic as well as personal career problems.
Any other work assigned from time to time to promote higher education among these two communities suffering economic, social and educational deprivations.
